1 Hour: $40 + Tax

I can accommodate up to 4 guitar students or 8 theory students at a time in a private lesson. Students must be at approximately the same skill level and must play the same kind of instrument (either all electric guitar or all acoustic). Each student must have his or her own instrument, equipment, books, and music.

Payment Policy

Fees and taxes for lessons are due on the first lesson of the month, for the lessons we agree that will be in that month. For example, if you expect to be on vacation one week, we will factor that in to the cost of the lesson.

If we have to postpone a lesson for illness or some other reason, you may apply a credit for that lesson toward the first lesson in the following month. See my Scheduling And Cancellation Policy.

Payment may be by cash, check, or money order. I am not set up for credit or debit cards at this time.

Expect a signed receipt or invoice for all payments.

$20 fee for returned checks.

I cannot teach on credit.

If you make arrangements with me to barter work or goods in exchange for lessons, I expect to receive the work or goods within one week of the last lesson(s) for which we are bartering. Failure to deliver your end of a barter agreement will result in an invoice being sent to you for the full retail value of the lessons.

Accompaniment Fees And Terms

$5 per song, plus tax.

Minimum 8 songs per booking. Payment is due at the end of the booking.

If you're performing at a small in-house recital and are only singing one or two songs, you may want to cooperate with another singer or two to get at least eight songs.

Get the music to me at least two weeks before the performance. The better I prepare, the better quality performance you will have. If this is a recital, you will benefit by scheduling a rehearsal (which also counts as a booking) so that we can work together and determine the best way to showcase your voice wit the guitar. Guitar accompaniment will not sound the same as a piano, and a live accompanist will not feel the same as a tape or CD recording.

Expect a signed receipt for all payments.
